Made in Japan, this amazing and rare set of 6 sterling silver retractable whisk stirrers features ball tip ends and various Japanese cultural objects at the heads. There is a joint in the middle of the stems that you pull down to release the whisk. The stirrers measure 4" to 4 1/4" long retracted and 6" to 6 1/4" long when opened. The stirrers are presented in their original blue lined, hinged box with an interior label that reads Sakai Silver Smiths Limited, Tokyo.
