The Federal Glass Company, founded in 1900 in Ohio, started its operations making pressed glass. By the 1920s, Federal Glass was well-known for its glassware, barware and unique glass items for the home. Over the years, the company sold millions of manufactured glass pieces and operated plants in Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. While prolific, Federal Glass closed in 1980.
